Top-10 overall recruit Aaron Gordon trimmed his list to three schools on Thursday night, and the Washington Huskies remain on the list.
Aaron Gordon, ESPN's No. 7 overall recruit for the class of 2013, trimmed his list of potential landing spots to the Washington Huskies, Arizona Wildcats and Kentucky Wildcats late Thursday, and that's not all that surprising, according to ZagsBlog.com.
After cutting the Oregon Ducks and Kansas Jayhawks, the 6'7, 210 pound forward will now focus on the two Pac-12 schools that have been battling for his services for some time. Kentucky and head coach John Calipari have come into the game late but now will challenge to scoop the Archbishop Mitty High School product from the West Coast.
There is no timetable for Gordon to make a final decision.
Washington might have the edge considering the relationship between UW head coach Lorenzo Romar and Gordon's father, who grew up with Romar in Los Angeles. The Wildcats have a solid grasp on Gordon's recruitment because he played on the same Oakland Soldiers AAU squad as current UA players Nick Johnson and Brandon Ashley.
